David update
Although David is much more stable and his color is much better than last night, the doctor suspects that he has pneumonia. His antibiotics have been changed accordingly and vent support has been increased for now - until he can recover. This would explain why his cultures keep coming up negative while he continues to show signs of infection.

Hopefully now that they are treating the pneumonia he will bounce back quickly. As I have said before he is a tough little guy. Prayers and love.
ReplyDeleteHeather - I can't imagine how hard all of this is for you and Brent. You both are so strong, though, and are such great parents already! No words that anyone says here can make anything better - no advice, no thoughts, no prayer promises - I realize that. But just remember that we are all here thinking of you and LOVING those little sweetpeas (even though we haven't even met them yet)! :) We are praying hard and wish your family the very best that life has to offer - you all DESERVE it!

Mary Louise - you're such a strong girl too! Look at all the progress you've made - we are all so proud of you. Say a little prayer for your brother over there - he needs a little help kicking that pneumonia!

I'm kicking the prayer into overdrive. David has already proven that he is exceptionally strong....hang in there, little guy. You show that pneumonia who's boss!
